The wellness director at the agency I work for instituted a nicotine cessation program in all of our program sites, as well as for employees. I am honored by the fact that she has asked me to help her in implanting this program. I will be writing essays at least monthly talking about my experiences as a smoker, from starting, to the various struggles I faced, the failed attempts to quit, what I miss, why I quit, what made this time success etc.

I was a die hard smoker for 22 out of 33 years of my life at the time I quit, so I’m still dumbfounded by the fact that I know avidly work to help people to be successful in quitting nicotine.
